Ever wanted to connect the input of one soundcard to the output of another? Then Playthrough is what you need.
Playthrough is a small windows application which allows you to route an incoming audiostream to the output of another soundcard. Usually you can only enable playback on the same soundcard.
A good example case is Ultrastar when you are using an additional usb microphone. If you want to hear yourself singing just use Playthrough to connect the usb microphone signal to the speakers pluged in to your soundcard. It's that simple.
